Survey Technician
The San Diego County Water Authority is seeking a Survey Technician to support the planning, design, and construction of critical regional water infrastructure. This journey-level position blends field and office work, performing topographic, right-of-way, and boundary surveys; preparing field packages; conducting technical calculations; and producing accurate survey maps and drawings using AutoCAD and related tools. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented surveying professional with strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills who can work independently in the field and collaboratively in the office. This role supports the Water Authority’s mission to deliver a safe, reliable water supply to 3.3 million residents across San Diego County and is based at the Kearny Mesa office on a 9/80 schedule.
