Did you know?

Then-Mayor Kevin Faulkner and District 5 Councilmember Mark Kersey proclaimed September 7, 2016, to be “Jas Arnold Trail For All People Day” in the City of San Diego. The Jas Arnold Trail for All People is a 1,100-foot flat loop in the Black Mountain Ranch Open Space Park that will be accessible for the elderly, young children, and people with mobility challenges.

We honor CLSA Life Member Jas Arnold with a yearly scholarship.

co-authored "History of San Diego Land Surveying Experiences" in 1988. Their account of local knowledge follows several early San Diego County surveyors, surveys, and maps, and discusses known sectionalized land problems, subdivision problems,
and water boundaries.
