Under general supervision, incumbents independently perform land-surveying projects of moderate complexity. Incumbents may also serve as chiefs over crews of subordinate paraprofessional or technical staff in the field and lead subordinate staff performing office assignments in support of survey projects.

LAND SURVEYOR MANAGER
Snipes-Dye associates is seeking an experienced full-time survey manager to run our survey department. Candidate shall be a registered land surveyor in the state of CA. Candidate shall have 10 years local experience in boundary surveys and resolutions, mapping, legal descriptions, GPS control, ALTA’s, construction staking and calculations. Responsibilities shall also include business development, including proposal writing.
